Paving Project: Road & Boat Ramp Closures 8/7-8/11

Street Paving begins Monday August 7, 2023 7 am-6 pm and is projected to be complete Friday August 11, 2023.

The streets of Dogwood Drive, Marlin Avenue and Tualamere Avenue will receive a new smooth street surface beginning Monday August 7, 2023.  Please DO NOT park in the posted areas during daylight hours of these dates.

Why is this being done?

These streets are owned and maintained by Clackamas County. Periodically streets must be repaved to extend the viable life of the streets and keep them from failing and turning into gravel roads.

The City of Rivergrove secured a grant from the Oregon Department of Transportation’s Small Cities Grant program to pay for a portion of the paving. The City worked with Clackamas County, to develop a plan with Clackamas county  to cover the remaining portion of the project which includes complete paving of Dogwood Drive,Tualamere Avenue and Marlin Avenue.

These improvements will not only create a smoother ride for vehicles and bikes while reducing impact to your vehicles, they will also improve the look of the neighborhood and extend the life of the street.

Can we park on the street during this construction project?

No.   If you park on the street, it will impede the work, extend the time frame and make project completion impossible.
Please park in your driveway or on side streets

Can we get out of our homes while this is being done?

Yes.  Contact one of the contractors on site during construction and the flaggers will assist you in and out of the construction area. If the contractors are paving in front of your house you may have to wait until the work is complete in front of property!

Will the Boat ramp be open?

Due to paving and no on street parking - the Stark boat ramp will be temporarily inaccessible for the week of 8/7-8/11. Thank you for understanding.
