On June 1, 8, and 15, 2023 the City of Rivergrove Budget Committee, composed of the Rivergrove City Council and five citizen volunteers, met via ZOOM to consider a proposed budget. Upon their approval, the budget was sent to the Council for consideration on June 22, 2023. They will further deliberate via ZOOM to adopt a budget on June 29, 2023, at 7 PM.

A public meeting of the Budget Advisory Committee of the City of Rivergrove, Washington/Clackamas Counties, State of Oregon, on the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024, will be held via Zoom.

The first meeting will take place on Thursday, June 1 at 7 pm. Login and telephone number to attend the meeting virtually will be posted on the City of Rivergrove website prior to the meeting. Please check for updates as meeting dates and times may change.

The purpose of the first meeting is to receive the budget message. A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after June 1, 2023, on the City’s website: https://www.cityofrivergrove.com

Listed below is the time and place of additional Budget Committee meeting(s) that will be held to take public comment. Any person may appear at the meeting(s) and discuss the proposed budget with the Budget Committee:

    Time: 7:00 pm (Meeting for public comment)

  • Date: June 15, 2023 (Meeting to be held only if needed)

Public hearings on the use of state revenue-sharing funds will be held, as follows:

  • Before the Budget Committee to discuss possible uses of the funds, June 8, 2023 at 7:00 pm

  • Before the Budget Committee to discuss possible uses of the funds June 15, 2023 at 7:00 pm (if needed)

  • Before the City Council on the proposed uses of the funds, June 22, 2023 at 7:00 pm

  • Before the City Council on the proposed uses of funds June 29, 2023 at 7:00 pm (if needed)

Public testimony to be considered by the Committee can be submitted by email to manager@cityofrivergrove.com by 2:00 pm on June 8, 2023. Testimony can also be mailed to: PO BOX 1104 Lake Oswego, OR 97035 to be received before June 8, 2023.
